PRESSURRE GAUGE

PRESSURE GAUGE

They are the measuring devices that are used to measure the pressure inside the cylinder. The pressure in cylinder is measured when the diaphragm in the gauge experience a push and the fulcrum connected to the diaphragm moves on a calibrated scale displaying the pressure inside and other gauge shows the amount of air present in cylinder.

The measuring element consist of one circular diaphragm clamped between a pair of flanges. The positive or negative pressure acting on this diaphragm causes deformation of the measuring element. The magnitutde of the deformation is proportional to the pressure to be measured, and it is coupled in pointer mechanism. The pressure gauges usually range from 2-16kg/cm2 and 10-400psi.
